[About the album]
Hello, this is the album bass tab for La Sexorcisto, Devil Music Vol. 1 by White
This genre of music is called "Groove Metal." It uses a lot of techniques found
in 60's groove music, combined with the heavy rhythms of metal. La sexorcisto was one of
Groove Metal albums (along with WZ's 2nd album Astro-Creep 2000, Pantera made groove
metal on their first few records). To give more character to the music, White Zombie
samples from various old grindhouse movies. Some movies include "Faster Pussycat KILL!
KILL!", "Plan 9 From Outer Space" "Night Of The Living Dead" "The Texas Chainsaw
The Mummy (1932) and even samples from "Star Trek: TOS". The song list is as

[About Sean Yseult]
Sean Yseult is the bassist for White Zombie. She was originally going to play guitar in
when she moved to NYC with Rob Zombie as his girlfriend. Eventually they decided to
get a different guitarist and Sean became the bass player. Sean learned bass playing
Sabbath songs by ear. Eventually Sean became very good at the instrument, and even won
an award for best female musical performer, along with best bassist in 1995 for
2000. Her basslines on this record are awesome and those of a very creative, talented
and capable player. You will find this out as you play each song.

[About the Author]
My name is Tom and I've been playing bass for about 8 years now. Some of my influences
Cliff Burton (Metallica), Sean Yseult (she also played guitar and sang in a band
called Famous Monsters, and is currently in a groupe called Rock City Mourge), Geezer
(Black Sabbath) and Rob Trujillo (SUICIDAL TENDANCIES!) to name a few. Metal is my
favorite thing to play on bass, however I like all kinds of rock music from Buddy Holly
K0rN. N.W.A., House of Pain and Cypress Hill are the only rap I like. Johnny Cash is
the only country I listen to. Classical music is excellent. My message to all musicians
to take in every kind of musical techniques and create more new sounds!
[About the Album Tab]
This album tab has taken me almost a year to complete, due to many factors. First off I
still training my ear and I am a very busy person, and so I put this off for a while.
You will find the tabs are very accurate, and I would say its 95% spot on. I won't go
say its 100% because even if I think it is, it may after all not be, but I assure you
this is VERY accurate. On my part I have spent hours listening, and even watched videos
White Zombie Live. If you are new to bass and are still learning, then play these
songs. Once you have masterd each riff presented on La Sexorcisto, you will be a much
bassist.
I would also like to make a note on the lyrics. I've only put the lyrics in places to
you figure out where to play the rhythm. While you play, listen to how Rob Zombie
accents the lyrics, and it will help your timing.

I would like to give greatful thanks to my bass teacher for sharing his amazing talent
hear anything. He helped me figure out many rhythms and also tie up loose ends on just
about every song.
