World Spins Madly On
The Weepies
Text File
ok...this is the improved version:
capo 6th fret
G- 320033
F#/D- 200232
Cadd9- x32033
D- xx0232
Em7- 022033
there are 2 other weird chords--dont know what they're called but i'll label them as:
B-020033
A-x02033
notes:
heres the thing i don't feel like typing this all out, so on F#/D and D, it goes back
forth from the 2nd to the 3rd fret on the high E string. if you listen to the song its
easy to figure out..
also, sometimes they use Em7 instead of Cadd9 but it can be really hard to tell which
is which...i did my best with trying to figure it out but during the verses both ways
fine.
G-F#/D-Cadd9-D x2
G F#/D
woke up and wished that i was dead
Cadd9
with an achin' in my head
D
i lay motionless in bed
Cadd9 G
i thought of you, and where you'd gone
Em7 F#/D G
let the world spin madly on
G-F#/D-Cadd9-D x1
G F#/D
and everything that i said i'd do
Em7
like make the world brand new

Em7 F#/D G
and the world spins madly on
G-F#/D-Cadd9-D
