Mistress Witch From Mcclure Or The Mind That Knows Itself

Sufjan Stevens

Text File

In my opinion, this is one of Sufjan's greatest songs to date. He really plays up the structure of the song by placing the breaks in lines in the middle of each sentence. I'm how it didn't end up on Illinoise, but glad we get it with the B-Sides. Sufjan plays most of it on the banjo. During the intro, outro and verses, he'll often a sixth with each Bb chord.
