Rodney Carrington
Text File
[E]I remember way back, when I was just a bo[A]y going places with my Mom and
[E]Dad.
[E]It used to scare me to death how Momma used to [B7]act after six or seven
[B7]beers she's had.
[B7]We were s[E]ittin' at a table when Momma got disabl[A]ed, all the liquor
running to he[E]r head.
[E]Soon I got to chokin'; Daddy wasn't jokin[B7]g when he grabbed me by the
arm and s[E]aid.
Chorus
(n.c.) E A
Don't look now, your Momma's got her boobs out showin' everybody in
[E]town.
[E]Faces turning red, we were wishin' we were dead,[A] there were people
standing all [B7]around.
[A]When Momma gets to drinking, t[E]here ain't much think[A]ing there's nothing
anybody can [E]do.
[A]You just hope and pray th[E]ere never comes a[B7] day when Momma's out
Drinking with [E]you.
[E]Well we got her in the truck and we started drivin[A]g home when Momma
said she had t[E]o go.
[E]Daddy pulled it over, we were standing on the shoulder whil[B7]e Momma's
putting on a show.
[E]Well he started up the truck and Momma stood up[A] with her pants still
Around he[E]r knees.
[E]When we heard Momma holler: "I[A]f you give me a dollar, well I[B7]'ll let
you take a peek a[E]t these".
(Chorus)
[A]You just hope and pray th[E]ere never comes a[B7] day when Momma's out
