Tuning:Open G - d B G D G D (Capo 2nd Fret)
Worked out a nice, loose version of Videotape to play in open G with a capo on second
(to match the key)that sounds nice played on an acoustic.
The open tuning gives you lots of oppurtunity to play around with different notes, chord
etc, this is just a sort gudieline to follow.

On the earlier 2006 live version that they toured, as well as in Thom's from the
performance, this nice sequence is played with the same rhythm as the chords and sounds lovely
worked in somewhere (I usually hold down the 5th fret down on the lowest string to get
bass note for the A chord, and then its pretty much the same for the bass notes for
and E):

I also find that if you fret the same places on the high D as you do on the middle D
playing the main chords, you get that epic octave sound.

Just play that a few times and there you go!
Like I said, its only the framework for the song, just make use and experiment with the
strings, and try different shapes, etc.
