HORRORSCOPE
===========
I've seen a few requests for this band, and this is a really easy song
so I thought I'd post it...
Tune (6)=D
Intro: (in the video, it looks like DD's actually playing it on a
12-string bass or whatever, but if you're just screwing around with the
guitar this sounds OK...)
------------------------------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------------|
------------------------------------------------------------------------|
-0--3--------0--3--1--0--------0-3--------0--6--5\--0-------------------|
-0--3--------0--3--1--0--------0-3--------0--6--5\--0-------------------|
Then the guitar fades in as the above fades out, very PM:
-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|
-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|
-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|
-----------------|-----------5---6-|-----------------|-----------6---5-|
-0-2-3-2-0-2-0-2-|-0-2-3-2-0-5-0-6-|-0-2-3-2-0-2-0-2-|-0-2-3-2-0-6-0-5-|
-0-2-3-2-0-2-0-2-|-0-2-3-2-0-5-0-6-|-0-2-3-2-0-2-0-2-|-0-2-3-2-0-6-0-5-|
e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e
The riff to end all riffs...
-----------------|------------------|
-----------------|------------------|
-----------------|------------------|
-----------------|------------------|
-0-------5~~-----|-0-0------5~~-----|
-0--/6-3-----6-3-|-0-0-/6-3-----6-3-|
q e e q e e e e e e q e e
Then the verse riff: (PM all but the 1/4-notes, I think)
--------------------------------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------------------------------|
-0-0-3-0-6--5-3-|-0-0-3-0-6-5-3--|-0-0-3-0-6--5-3-|-0-0-3-0-6-5-3-5-|
-0-0-3-0-6--5-3-|-0-0-3-0-6-5-3--|-0-0-3-0-6--5-3-|-0-0-3-0-6-5-3-5-|
e e e e q e e e e e e e e q e e e e q e e e e e e e e e e
Then the cool riff, the verse, and then the chorus bit:
-----------|-------------|
-----------|-------------|
-----------|-------------|
-5---------|-3------2--6-|
-5-----0-0-|-3--0-0-2--6-|
-5-----0-0-|-3--0-0-2--6-|
h. e e q e e q q
Play this once, then the cool riff, then the chorus bit 2x, then
the riff after the intro, followed by some D5 punches, which continue
with the following over the top...
-------------|------------|-------------|------------------|
-------------|------------|-------------|------------------|
-------------|------------|-------------|------------------|
-------------|------------|-------------|-----7------------|
-/5~~~~~-3/5-|-5/6-5~~~~~-|-/5~~~~~-3/5-|-6/8---8-7--b8r7~-|
-------------|------------|-------------|------------------|
h. e e q h. h. e e e e e q e q
Then the solo, which is mostly bends, tapping; basically just adlib in
the same key, more or less. I don't know exactly how it goes, but if
someone *really* wants it I'll have a go at figuring it out.
That's about it. It's a really easy song, but it sounds pretty cool.
I'd really like to see more tabs for groups like Overkill on here--
I know a bunch more stuff from Horrorscope which I'll post if anyone's
interested, as well as some of the older stuff from The Years Of Decay,
Under The Influence, Taking Over, etc.
I don't have my guitar with me now, so if anyone has any corrections
(or better still, Carcass tabs...), please e-mail them to me...
Thanx,
Matt
