While he never had another US hit, he went on to a long career as a musical prankster in the UK, releasing a lengthy string of novelty records (including an 'ooga-chaka' cover of 'Hooked On A Feeling' years before Blue Swede) under a wide variety of studio aliases. He also discovered (and named) Genesis, but even I don't detest Phil Collins enough to call that his biggest prank of all. -- AWR "Everyone's Gone To The Moon" (Jonathan King) Intro: Ebmaj7 Ab Bb [2X] / / / / / / / / Verse 1: Eb Bb/D Streets full of people Ab Bb All alone Eb Gm7 Roads full of houses Ab Fm7 Bb Never home Ab Eb Church full of singing Fm7 Bb Ebmaj7 Out of tune Fm7 Bb [1,3: Ebmaj7 Ab Bb] [2: Eb; to bridge] Everyone's gone to the moon Verse 2: Eyes full of sorrow Never wet Hands full of money All in debt Sun coming out in The middle of June Everyone's gone to the moon Bridge: Bb Long time ago (Bb) Life has begun Ab Eb Bb Everyone went to the sun Verse 3: Hearts full of motors Painted green Mouths full of chocolate Covered cream Arms that can only Lift a spoon Everyone's gone to the moon Coda: Fm7 Bb Ebmaj7 Ab Bb Everyone's gone to the moon Fm7 Bb [N.C.] Eb Everyone's gone to the moon -- another ace 60's tab from Andrew Rogers [lyrics transcribed by Dan Woll]
