Hey guys, this song is really fun to play. I sat down this evening wanting to
learn a new song and figured this out from the cd. Hope you enjoy. Remember to
capo and those notes ring! I'd post lyrics, but I remember reading something
about that being illegal, so you can them from somewhere else :D (All finger
positions measured relative to capo, so you are starting off playing what like
an Am fingering, but it is actually in Cm.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
e|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------1------------------1-----------------1------------------1------|
G|-----2-----0------------2-----0-----------2-----0------------2-----0--|
D|---2-----3------------2-----3-----------2-----3------------2-----3----|
A|-0------------------0-----------------0------------------0------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
I had a big idea...
e|----------------------------3-----------------------------------------|
B|-------1------------------1-3---------------1------------------1------|
G|-----2-----0------------2---0-------------2-----0------------2-----0--|
D|---2-----3------------2-----0-----------2-----3------------2-----3----|
A|-0------------------0-------2---------0------------------0------------|
E|----------------------------3-----------------------------------------|
e|---------------------------------|
B|-1---3---3---0------------1------|
G|-0---0---0---0----------2-----0--|
D|----------------------2-----3----|
A|-3---2--------------0------------|
E|---------3---0-------------------|
This continues similarly through verse 2, and then:
e|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------1------------3-----3-----------1-----1------------3-----3------|
G|-----2-----0------------0--------------------------------------0------|
D|---2-----3------------0------------0----3-------3----------0--------0-|
A|-0------------------------------------0-------------------------------|
E|--------------------3------------------------------------3------------|
e|--------------------------------------------0-------------------------|
B|-1-----1------------1-----1-----------------0------------1-----1------|
G|-------2------------------0-----------1------------------2-----0------|
D|---3-------3----------2--------2----------------2--------2-----2------|
A|-0------------------3-------------------2----------------0-----3------|
E|--------------------------------------0-------------------------------|
E/---------------------------------|
B/-3-----0------------------1------|
G/-0-----0----------------2-----0--|
D/-0-----2--------------2-----3----|
A/--------------------0------------|
E/-3-----0-------------------------|
And song continues similarly until the end, which is (I'm figuring this out as I go):
E/---------------------------|
B/-1-----1-------3-----0-----|
G/-2-----2-------0-----0-----|
D/-2-----2-------0-----2-----|
A/-0-----3-------------------|
E/---------------3-----0-----|
fade...
Have fun! Let me know via email if there should be a correction.
