Hey!
I don't play guitar that well, so I did this on piano. That's why I don't really know
to say what the notes at the *** are on guitar. It's something like A, C#, B, F (non
and then ending in a F# chord on the second 'this'. You can also just leave that out,
it sounds better.
I think these are the right chords, but except for the chorus I'm not sure.
[C# [Fm]
It feels like this, as I walk the streets and I stalk the leaves on
[C#]
my way home,
[Fm]
Look down at my shoes, to see how I move,
[D]
And its always wrong, its always wrong,
But I cant go back.
I cant go back,
[C#]
I cant go back to her shell see, shell see the way I look, Ive looked,
[Fm] [C#]
Ill always look through my eyes, through my heart but not my sense,
[Fm]
I seem to lose, but not when I choose,
[D]
And its always wrong, its always wrong,
But second source, in the middle of the night,
[A]
Alls easy but not with this girl,
[D]
Joanna sits on the wall,
[A]
Smiling and laughing and asking for more,
[D]
Shes won the battle, but now comes the fear,
[C#]
Its over; its over, just as I came near,
[Fm]
It feels like this, as I walk the streets and I stalk the leaves on my way
[C#]
home,
[Fm]
The house is so near, but oceans from here,
[D]
And its always wrong, its always wrong,
But summer air, when hands are a tangled,
[A]
You think that youve won all the world.
[D]
Joanna sits on the wall,
[A]
Smiling and laughing and asking for more,
[D]
Shes won the battle, but now comes the fear,
[C#]
Its over; its over, just as I came near,
[D]
But second source, in the middle of the night,
***
It feels like this,
[F#]
It feels like this,
[E]
My eyes will take a tear from you,
[F#]
My heart will take a beat, or two,
[E] [A]
My feet will take me back to you tonight, they always do,
[D]
Joanna sits on the wall,
[A]
Smiling and laughing and asking for more,
[D]
Shes won the battle, but now comes the fear,
Its over; its over, just as I came near,
[F#] [C#] [F#] [C#]
[F#]
Your eyes arent blue, but I still see seas within....
