After fully lifting this tune I'm convinced they recorded the original with guitars
to Eb. but since I rarely have guitars tuned that way and Im lazy, I lifted it all in drop
all the notes are right, the chord shapes are just different to accommodate the
in tuning. Im convinced of this for two reasons; at the end of the tune when they're
the shots the guitar keeps playing the Eb root even when it hits the B power chord,
isn't natural feeling in drop D. Second clue is during the verses you can occasionally hear
guitar throw out a low Eb even though the chords have them up around 5th position.
than that there's no reason not to play in drop D. I think these chord shapes
more fun anyway.word.
