Who Are You When Im Not Looking

Blake Shelton

Text File

Capo: 2nd fret This is not a normal Gadd9. Read the bottom of the page it looks like a G/D but modified to produce A G. D My oh my, you're so good looking Gadd9 Hold yourself together like a pair of bookends A But I've not tasted all you're cooking Gadd9 Who are you when I'm not looking D Do you pour a little something on the rocks Gadd9 Slide down the hallway in your socks A When you undress, do you leave a path Gadd9 Then sink to your nose in a bubble bath D My oh my, you're so good looking Gadd9 Hold yourself together like a pair of bookends A But I've not tasted all you're cooking Gadd9 Who are you when I'm not looking E Gadd9 D I wanna know, I wanna know, I wanna know D Do you break things when you get mad Gadd9 Eat a box of chocolates cause you're feeling bad A Do you paint your toes 'cause you bite your nails Gadd9 And call up mama when all else fails D Who are you when I'm not around Gadd9 When the door is locked and the shades are down A Do you listen to your music quietly Gadd9 And when it feels just right are ya thinking of me E Gadd9 D I wanna know, I wanna know, I wanna know D My oh my, you're so good looking D But who are you when I'm not looking _____________________________________ [Thanks to Robert Bradley for tabs] as Modified by HarryHeck Based off of the video he is clearly playing (what www.all-guitar-chords.com/chord_name.php calls) a G major add 9, or a B minor 7th sharp 5th in relation to stardard tuning without the capo. Here is a description and diagram of the chord played in the video. The capo 2nd fret equals o, open or "fret 0". /// 1st finger 1st string 3rd fret \\\ /// 2nd finger 3rd string 4th fret \\\ /// 3rd finger 6th string 5th fret for the add9 \\\ /// or thumb on 3rd fret for a G major \\\ /// 4th finger 5th string 5th fret \\\ /// the 2nd and 4th strings are played open \\\ | | |1|-|-| o|-|-|-|-|-| | | | |2|-| o|-|-|-|-|-| | | | | |4| | | |T|-|3| This should make it easier to figure out the pluck pattern used in the song. The Actual chord played is an "A add9" for the purists who hate capo chords transcribed in relation to E. Also the version by Robert ended on G and the video ends on D major.
