                  a double A-side single w DAY TRIPPER on December 3rd
                  1965.

   This is a typical Lennon & McCartney collaboration. The verse/chorus 
   section being from Paul and the middle eight from John. It was a # 1
   in the UK and in the USA. Lennon's use of 3/4 time in the midle eight
   seems a first instance of the comic atmosphere he would later produce 
   in BEING FOR THE BENEFIT OF MR KITE. It's a great middle eight, which
   gives life to the rather monotonous verse from Paul.
