Train Kept A Rollin

Yardbirds

Text File

i no there's a few ways to play this song, but this is how it actually goes, i learned strait from an old book of Yardbirds tabs. It sounds GREAT! jus learn these riffs and u'll easyily be able to put them in place. riff 1 G--------------------------| D--5----5------5--5--5---5-| A-----7---7-7----------7---| E--------------------------| riff 2 G--------------------------| D--7----7------7--7--7---7-| A-----9---9-9----------9---| E--------------------------| riff 3 G--------------------| D--7--7--7-9---7-5-4-| A--------------------| E--------------------| riff 4 G---------------------------| D--5---------54- (that 4-5-| on the D string is A--------7--7---------------| hit pretty quick, give it a E---------------------------| hammeron if u cant hit as fast) there actually is a bass solo in this song, but u dont HAVE to play it, u can jus play it with the main riffs. i do remeber part of how the solo goes tho. G-------------------7-9-7-----------------------------------------7-9-7---9-| D-------------6-7-9-------9-7-5-------------------5-7-5-----6-7-9-------9---| A----4-2-2-4-7------------------7-5---------4-5-7-------7-5-----------------| E--0--------------------------------7-5-3-5---------------------------------| -9-11 9---- thats about all i remeber about it, if u wanna do it and if any good ----- improvising u can see that it's kinda of a blues based solo, u can ----- take that and improvise the rest if ur good enough, thats what i do. outro is somthin like this G----------------------------------------| D--999999999999999999999999999-----------| not sure of the exact amout of A-----------------------------777777---7-| times to hit those notes jus E----------------------------------------| listen for it, it's easy to hear. well thats about it, it is really easy to hear the timing and were to put what riffs, learn all of them then listen to the song to hear it. and remeber, HAVE FUN! thats what all about! Peace!
