Beginning Of The End

Systematic

Text File

Band: Systematic Album: Somewhere in Between Song: "Beginning of the End," Track #2. Alright guys, this song has a peculiar tone or chord shape or something that just doesn't sound normal to me. I tabbed it out just using straight power chords and it sounds good, but if any of you know of another way to play it let me know. I've got the notes right, I just think that he's using a bizarre voicing of the same chords. Anyways, drop your guitar down two whole steps and here it is, just using power chords. Intro (Riff 1) c--|------------------------------|-------------- G--|------------------------------|-------------- Eb-|.----------------------------.|-------------- Bb-|.-5-5-5-5-3-5----------------.|-------------- F--|--5-5-5-5-3-5--(quarter rest)-|-------------- C--|--3-3-3-3-1-3-----------------|-------------- Intro Part 2 (Riff 2) c--|------------------------------------------| G--|------------------------------------------| Eb-|.----------------------------------------.| Bb-|.-5-5-5-5-3-5------------5-5-7-7-9-9-9-9-.| F--|--5-5-5-5-3-5-(1/4 rest)------------------| C--|--3-3-3-3-1-3------------3-3-5-5-7-7-7-7--| First Verse (Riff 3) (lightly palm muted) the last time you play this at the end of the verse, let the last chord ring c---|-----------------------| G---|-----------------------| Eb--|.---------------------.| Bb--|.---------------------.| F---|--5--3--7--5--3--7--5--| C---|--3--1--5--3--1--5--3--| Pre chorus: play riff 3, but don't palm mute.
