The Gush

Raging Speedhorn

Text File

Ok people. This is my first tab and i've been playing the guitar for 2 months so go easy on me. I think there are 5 different riffs used in this song, but there are two guitars (it sounds ok with one). Tuning is c#,g#,c#,f#,a#,d# Riff A ---------------- ---------------- ---------------- -15-15\10-10/12- -15-15\10-10/12- -15-15\10-10/12- Riff B ------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------- -0-5-7-10-12-3-5-3-5-3-5- -0-5-7-10-12-3-5-3-5-3-5- -0-5-7-10-12-3-5-3-5-3-5- Riff C ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ -0-0-10-12-0-0-10-12-0-0-10-12-0-15~ Riff D ------------- ------------- ------------- -15-15/17-12- -15-15/17-12- -15-15/17-12- Riff E ------- ------- ------- -15-12- -15-12- -15-12- The structure of the song is as follows: Riff A x 2 (on both guitars) Riff B x 4 (on both guitars) Riff A x 2 (on both guitars) Riff B x 8 (on both guitars) Riff A x 1 (on both guitars) Riff D x 1 (on both guitars) Riff B x 4 (on both guitars) Riff C x 4 (on guitar A) Riff C x 8 (on both guitars) Riff D x 1 (on guitar B) Riff C x 2 (on both guitars) Riff D x 1 (on guitar B) Riff C x 8 (on both guitars) Riff E x 1 (on both guitars) If you listen carefully you can hear clearly when the variations in guitars and riffs are used in the bit at the end. Basically riff D is used when Frank sings/shouts "caskets filled with every slaughter...." and it goes back to riff C on the line "don't freak out...". Its an easy enough song. Any comments, suggestions, requests, then e-mail me at frozengonads@hotmail.com. Happy playing people.
