Lady

Little River Band

Text File

Lady By Little River Band Tabbed by Nick C. I didn't see a tab of this that I liked, so here's my version. This is my first time tabbing something this large, but any feedback is good feedback. I tried to get the timing of the lyrics as close as possible, but sometimes it wasn't possible, so listen to the song for all the right timings. Standard Tuning ______________________________________________________________________ [Intro] Acoustic guitar starts with this: B|-3-2-3-2---0--------3-2-3-/7-5-2-3--- G|-4-2-4-2-2-0--------4-2-4-/7-6-2-4-2- D|---------2-------------------------4- Guitar then strums a D and the piano plays: e|-10-9p7-5- [Verse 1] A A/G A/F# A/G A A/G A/F# A/G e|------------------------------------------------------------------ B|------------------------------------------------------------------ G|-----2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2---- D|---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2-- A|-0-------------------------------0-------------------------------- E|---------3-------2-------3---------------3-------2-------3-------- Look A A/G A/F# A/G A A/G A/F# A/G e|------------------------------------------------------------------| B|------------------------------------------------------------------| G|-----2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2----| D|---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2--| A|-0-------------------------------0--------------------------------| E|---------3-------2-------3---------------3-------2-------3--------| around you. [Refrain] This guitar is a clean electric with heavy reverb. e|-----0--- B|-------3- --> x15 G|---1----- D|-2------- A|--------- E|--------- And I love you best. You're not like the rest. You're there when I need you you're there when I need I'm gonna need you. [Verse 2] Electric guitar fingerpicks what the acoustic guitar did in verse 1. It's hard to hear what it does on the D and E chords, but I just improvise a fingerpicking pattern. Acoustic guitar strums the chords. I usually just improvise it.)
