D.O.A. - Last Night This tab is going to be organised differently than my other tabs. I'm putting in both guitar parts, and separating the riffs and progressions for each. Unlike some tabbers, who write two-part tabs that are confusing as fuck, I'm going to clearly label guitar #1 and guitar #2. Guitar #1 - Intro e------------------| B------------------| G-4-4-44-4-4-444-4-| D------------------| A------------------| E------------------| Repeat ad nauseam. Guitar #2 - Intro (Play these chords under the main intro.) e---------------------------0---2--------------| B---------------------------0---2--------------| G-4-4--4-3-3--3-3-----------1---3--4-4--4-4-4--| (repeat) Then end on the B5 chord, and into... D-4-4--4-3-3--3-3-6--4-4----2---4--4-4--4-4-4--| A-2-2--2-1-1--1-1-6--4-4----2---4--2-2--2-2-2--| E-----------------4--2-2--0-0-2-2--------------| Guitar #2 - Verse/Intro Thingy (The famous riff, while they yell "last night.") e---------------------------------| B---------------------------------| G---------------------------------| D---------------------------------| A-0-0-4-0-5-0-4-0-0-4-0-5-0-4-0-0-| E---------------------------------| Repeat a few times, then the B5 power chord twice, and guitar #1 plays: Guitar #1 e---------------| B---------------| G-4b6-4b6-6r4-2-| D---------------| A---------------| E---------------| For the verse, guitar 2 plays the "famous riff" (not really famous), playing it once muted, once not, and at the same times as in the intro/verse thingy, guitar 1 plays the above fill. The 4b6 one, for the stupid. Then, after the verse, guitar one does this little acoustic-style interlude. I haven't written the chords out every single time they're hit, but you can listen to the record to get an idea of how to strum this passage. e-3-3-3-3-2-2-3-3-2------------| B-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3----2-2---2-| G-0-0-0-0-2-2-2-2-2----2-2---2-| D-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0----2-2---2-| A-2-2-2-2--------------0-0---0-| E-3-3-3-3----------------------| On those last A chords, there is the Guitar #2 - Verse/Intro Thingy played, by guitar 2. Then repeat the acoustic interlude again, with guitar 2's riff at the end. Then, repeat the verse stuff, but with guitar #1's fill changed to: e-----------------------------------------------------| B-----5-----5---------------------------------5-------| G-4b6---4b6---6r4-2-----(break in here)---4b6---6r4-2-| D-----------------------------------------------------| A-----------------------------------------------------| E-----------------------------------------------------| Then re-repeat the verse stuff, keeping guitar #1's fill the same. Then, the acoustic interlude and guitar 2's riff again. Play it twice. Now, it's solo time! While guitar #2 plays an A chord, guitar #1 plays this. e-----------------------------| B--------3-2-0-----3-2-0------| G-4b6----------2-2-------2-2--|(repeat this over and over, without the initial bend) D-----------------------------| A-----------------------------| E-----------------------------| After a while, play this: e----------------------| B--------------3-------| G-2-----4--------------| D----------------------| A----------------------| E----------------------| Then, for the outro, both guitars play this: pm-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| e------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| B------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| G-2-2-2-2-2-4-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2--------------------------------------------------------| D-2-2-2-2-2-4-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2--------------------------------------------------------| A-0-0-0-0-0-2-2-2-2-2-0-0-0-0--5-4-2-----------------------------5-4-2---------------| E------------------------------------4h5-5-5-4h5-5-5-5-4h5-5-5-5-------4h5-5-5-5-4h5-| End on three A5 chords. Good luck!
