------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Be Yourself - Audioslave ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: Bas Email:b_vice@hotmail.com Big update, made some mistakes in the last update.... (5) : optional note h : hammer on p : pull of / : slide up \ : slide down ~ : vibrato b : bend br : bend and release PM...: Palm Muted Tuning: EADGBe No timing is added, so you have to figure it out yourself (but it isn't too difficult to figure that out). The tab is updated, because I have seen the clip of 'Be Yourself' and I saw Tom playing a capo on the 2nd fret... So I updated all the parts to this style of playing the song. So for example: An --0--- is actually an --2---, but because there is a capo, you can play the string open, so there is standing --0--. Intro Bm e|----------------------0-| B|1---0h1p0-----------1---| G|2-----------------2-----| D|2---------------2-------| A|0-------------0---------| E|0-----------1-----------| Bm e|----------------------0-| B|1---0h1p0-----------1---| G|2-----------------2-----| D|2---------------2-------| A|0-------------0---------| E|0-----------1-----------| Riff 1 The riffs are played with a bit delay... after sliding into a new note, you have to repick it sometimes... Play only once [2nd part.....................] e|5---|0--3--3/8---8/10-7--7/8--3--5--0---3---3/8---7\3--0---7\5----| B|----|-------------------------------------------------------------| Repeat G|----|-------------------------------------------------------------| until D|----|-------------------------------------------------------------| chorus A|----|-------------------------------------------------------------| E|----|-------------------------------------------------------------| Chorus Bm D G G\B e|-0----3-----1---(5)| B|-1----5-----1----6-| G|-2----5-----2----5-| 2x D|-2----5-----3----7-| A|-0----3-----3----8-| E|-x----x-----1----5-| Riff2 Riff2 is the same as Riff 1, but know start with the '2nd part' (you can see it at the first riff) before the chorus play this chord: D e|1--| B|1--| G|2--| D|3--| let ring, then strum it many times again... End with: D e|-3-| B|-5-| G|-5-| D|-5-| A|-3-| E|-3-| Hope my tab was usefull, and please mail any comments or corrections.
