Norwegian Wood by Beatles Norwegian Wood - Beatles Tabbed by Tyler Brooks Email: Tylerbrooksmusic@gmail.com UG SN: Schizovation Standard Tuning This Chord sheet isn’t supposed to be a carbon copy. I switched some stuff around, and is my own interpretation. The chords are bit more jazzy, and I wrote it so you don’t need capo. This will sound great for anyone who does solo acoustic gigs. Please Rate. Make you give it a real shot first because once you get it down it will sound great. Also for all of the parentheses. The chord names looked really confusing without them. Good luck Verse 1 (C#-7/B) (C#-) (C#-7/B) (C#-7/A) (C#-7/G#) I once had a girl, (E/F#) (E/A) (E/G#) (E) (Fill) (B7 B13) or should I say, she once had me.. E-9 Amaj9 B/E I told her I didn't and crawled off to sleep in the bath Verse 3 (C#-7/B) (C#-) (C#-7/B) (C#-7/A) (C#-7/G#) And when I a- -woke, (E/F#) (E/A) (E/G#) (E) (Fill) (B7or B13) I was a- -lone, this bird had flown (C#-7/B) (C#-) (C#-7/B) (C#-7/A) (C#-7/G#) So I lit a fire, (E/F#) (E/A) (E/G#) (E) (Fill) or B13) is- -n't it good, norwegian wood. Chords-(in order of appearance) *use your thumb for the root on the 6th string (C#-7/B) (C#-) (C#-7/A) (C#-7/G#) (E/F#) (E/A) (E/G#) (E) (B7) *(B13) e---9--------9-----9--------9---------------------------------7-----9-----| B---9--------9-----9--------9---------9------9----9-------9---7-----9-----| G---9--------9-----9--------9---------9------9----9-------9---6-----8-----| D---9--------11----9--------9---------9------9----9-------9---7-----7-----| A------------------12-------11--------9------12---11------11--9-----x-----| E---------------------------------------------------------12--7-----7-----| E-9 Amaj9 B/E e---9-----0------0---| B---9-----0------0---| G---9-----6------8---| D---7-----7------9---| A---9-----0------9---| E---0------------0---| Fill: these are chords, but the names suck. Dmaj(no5th), D5, and C#-7(no3rd no5th). I think those are their names, but I might be wrong. If you cant get this down, just do the roots. e-------------| B-------------| G-------------| D-------------| A--9---12--7--| E--10--10--9--| Some variations you can do are: 1. At the end of a verse line you can play a B13 chord instead of B7. 2. You can play an Amaj9/E instead of Amaj9 e--0---| B--0---| G--6---| D--7---| A--0---| E--0---| 3. You can do hammer-ons and pull-offs on the 7th fret of the high e string, during the Amaj9 chord e--7p0--| B--0-0--| G--6-6--| D--7-7--| A--0-0--| E-------| 4. Finally, you can bar all the way down the 9th fret for all the chords in the verse the fill and the B7 or B13). It is kind of dissonant, but I like it. www.TAB6.com
